OUR LEATHER TYPES
Saddle Leather

Saddle leather is a high quality semi-aniline pull-up hide. Saddle is described as a pull-up because when it is stretched the top coat moves to reveal the lighter base coat underneath. No two hides are identical and the top surface coat can appear different depending on how it is upholstered. The effect achieved is that of a two-tone aged finish full of character. This is the most natural leather in appearance and all natural markings are clearly visible.
Advice on cleaning
Care should be exercised when cleaning Saddle leather to avoid removing the surface finish. Gently wipe (do not rub) over the whole panel with a soft damp lint-free cloth. The water should be luke warm. Hot water will lift and damage the surface finish. The idea is to smooth out stains or dirt marks, rather than try and eradicate them completely.
- Do not wet the leather excessively as water staining may occur.
- Do not use detergent products.
- Always read carefully the labels on cleaning products to check they are suitable for this kind of leather.
Available in 2 colours: Hazel and Chocolate
Softgrain Leather

Softgrain leather is finished with a pigmented topcoat, embossed with an artificial grain pattern. Virtually all natural markings and characteristics are hidden. This type of leather offers a high level of resistance to staining and is more easily cleaned. It offers excellent durability and will stand up to more robust use.
Advice on cleaning
- A damp cloth and a pure mild soap solution will remove most stains.
